Borderline results & context
This is a follow-up appointment after previously having seen another GP regarding feeling 'Tired All the Time' with tummy ache. As an SCA candidate you may be presented with this information, including that abdominal examination was normal and blood tests arranged for which you are now seeing the patient, listing the results that the GP discusses.
The GP gathers the current context in which the patient is currently managing his roles as a carer and father.
How should the GP proceed with the collection of borderline results and the information gathered in the first 6-7 minutes? The GP role is to bring their clinical expertise and make sense of the information at hand and generate a management plan suitable for the individual in front of them.
